SOFTSWISS, one of the top software providers in the iGaming industry, has released an announcement regarding the launch of its Bug Bounty program with the purpose of enhancing cybersecurity.

This initiative by SOFTSWISS is meant to invite independent security researchers and white-hat hackers to identify security vulnerabilities, offering a substantial reward for their findings with the goal of guaranteeing the highest level of cybersecurity for the customers of this software provider.

SOFTSWISS aims to ensure that only high-priority cases that meet strict requirements are reported, which is why it launched an exclusive, invite-only program to encourage white-hat hackers to bind with the terms and requirements of the software provider, which is expected to yield high-quality reports.

This is because private programs guarantee that the focus is put solely on critical security issues, as opposed to public programs which while offering broader perspectives, still tend to generate more irrelevant reports, something that SOFTSWISS aims to avoid.

The SOFTSWISS Bug Bounty program offers financial incentives of up to €3,500, an amount which will greatly depend on the complexity and severity of the vulnerabilities discovered by the participants.

Consequently, SOFTSWISS launched this program with the sole purpose of providing unbiased external assessments from a range of top-tier security experts.

As per the words of Evgeny Zaretskov, the Chief Information Security Officer at SOFTSWISS Group, the company wants to constantly re-evaluate applications with data provided by “experienced external experts and enthusiasts”, in order to ensure a “reliable level of data” protection for their customers.

We care about the security of our customers and their players, so it is important for us not only to pay close attention to the protection of the products we develop but also to constantly re-check our applications with experienced external experts and enthusiasts. In cooperation with the expert community, we can ensure a reliable level of data protection and uninterrupted operation for all our customers. SOFTSWISS is proud to set a new standard in cybersecurity using crowdsourced expertise. In this constantly changing environment, even a minor error can lead to significant losses for operators. The Bug Bounty program is an additional measure to protect our existing and future customers.

The Bug Bounty program launched with two platforms, namely the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook and the SOFTSWISS Casino. Moreover, the testing takes place in a dedicated environment that operates independently from the live casino platform, thus making sure that players don’t experience disruptions in their gaming experience.

The Deputy Director of Security at SOFTSWISS, Artem Buchkov, stated that this program would only solidify the title of SOFTSWISS as one of the “most secure software and platforms in the iGaming industry”.

Cybersecurity is a constant battle. No company can discover all vulnerabilities on its own. This program allows talented hackers to legally hack online casinos, helping us anticipate and protect against potential threats. It reinforces our commitment to providing the most secure software and platforms in the iGaming industry.
