Global gaming solutions supplier Intralot has announced stable financial results for the first half of 2025, demonstrating modest growth and a significant reduction in debt.
The company reported total revenue of €168 million ($196.2 million), a slight increase of 1.7% year-on-year, while EBITDA saw a comparable rise of 1.2% to reach €60.2 million for the period.
A breakdown of the company’s revenue streams shows that lottery games continue to be the primary driver, contributing 53% of the total revenue.
Sports betting followed with a 22% share, while video lottery terminals and IT products and services accounted for the remaining 25%.
Operationally, Intralot’s B2B and B2G contracts represented the overwhelming majority of its business, making up 95.1% of total revenue.
Geographically, performance was bolstered by growth in technology and support services in the US market, alongside notable year-on-year development in Argentina and Croatia. Conversely, management contracts, primarily from Turkish operations, experienced a 5.9% decline.
A key highlight of the report was the company’s strengthened financial position. Intralot successfully reduced its adjusted net debt from €338.2 million to €303 million and lowered its total operating expenses by 13.6% to €7.5 million.
This financial discipline comes as the company prepares for a transformative acquisition of Bally’s International Interactive business, a deal expected to close by the end of 2025 that will significantly expand its digital footprint and financial scale.
Sokratis P. Kokkalis, Chairman, commented:
Intralot’s results for the first half of 2025 reflect stable financial performance in terms of revenue and operating profitability, strengthened cash flows and a significant reduction in debt and leverage. At the same time, Intralot has announced a pivotal strategic decision to acquire Bally’s International Interactive, which will transform the company by enhancing its growth capabilities in the modern digital environment and substantially expand its financial scale.
